The John L. Haar Library is delighted to announce the launch of a new collection – First Voices: Contemporary Indigenous Fiction. Located across from the Borrower Services Desk, First Voices features an array of prominent and emerging Indigenous authors, complementing those found throughout the main library print and electronic collections. The focus is primarily authors in Canada but does include authors from other countries, with more books coming. If there is a novel by a contemporary Indigenous author you think should be included, please contact Sandy Stift, Associate Dean, Library, at stifts@macewan.ca or 780-497-5887.
